Throughout my first month as the new Shoreline/Lake Forest Park editor for the Enterprise Newspaper, I have been busy meeting many people in Shoreline. Although there doesn't seem to be enough hours in my busy workday to meet you all, I am happy to introduce myself nonetheless.

I became familiar with the Enterprise Newspaper in June 2005 when I worked as an intern for six weeks. Luckily, I was able to continue working for the newspaper as a freelancer while I finished earning my journalism degree from Seattle University and began the big full-time job search. My experience during that time consisted mostly of writing real estate ad copy.

Although I knew many people were sad to see former editor, Brooke Fisher, leave to pursue another job in early March, I was both excited and anxious to begin wearing an editor's hat.

I'm looking forward to learning more about the intricate workings of city life and meeting more of the people who choose to work, live and play in both Shoreline and Lake Forest Park.
